BORLA exhaust set up QUESTION! 3 MORE DAYS

I have recently decided on the borla xr-1 muffler (#40085) on my 2000 5.4 V8. I want my truck loud and able to hear in the cab but nothing to crazy for a daily driver like strait pipes. I would also like to keep as little drone as possible.
So my question to you is seance I want it heard well in the cab should I dump it before the rear axel or out the passanger side before the back tire? I don't care about looks just sound and drone! Witch would u choose?
I'm ordering all my parts in 3-4 days please comment!!
