Best Cold Air Intake?

Yeah, don't waste your money on a cold air intake. All you get is a horrible air sucking sound and not much more. Do some research away from this website and you will quickly learn that cold air intake sales pitches are mostly snake oil. And most of the info you get on these forum threads is anecdotal. Unless you are into very high performance racing a cold air intake is a waste of money. "The theory behind it is cooler air can hold more fuel than warmer air but with a computerized car, the sensors will compensate and maintain a constant 14.7:1 air/fuel ratio at all times anyway so don't waste your money."
But if you are like me and just have to have the latest gadget, go ahead and put one in and you will likely "feel" a performance improvement. I swear my car runs better after I change the oil (fresh synthetic...yum!) and run it through the car wash!!!
But seriously, do the research. I think you will be shocked what you learn about cold air intakes.

I've watched dynos on cold airs in pickups. Lots of the tests showed little to no change, some even produced less hp then stock intakes. Get a ram air hood if anything lol

I think you can notice a considerable difference in the butt dyno when installing a good name brand intake, I have put aftermarket intakes in a lot of different vehicles and will say the K&N in my truck impressed me the most out of any of them.
