Bed Liner or Spray In

2014 XLT
My 14XLT was in stock with a dealer installed "Ford logo" drop in held in place with the 4 tie down plates. I bought an indoor/outdoor rug (Home Depot.com) for less than $20 and cut it to fit the floor. I have an Extang Solidfold tonneau. Nothing slides around (toolbox, Rubbermaid containers and miscellaneous) and if I haul something loose or dirty (like landscaping materials) I roll up the rug first so I can later sweep out the plastic liner. Works for me.

I sent you a private message with that info, but I don't see it in my sent items folder, so let me know if you didn't get it and I'll try again...

Don't do the drop in. I have a 2011 gmc work truck with 60,000 miles on it. It came with the factory tool box and drop in liner. Just this past weekend I was cleaning out the bed and lifted the rear up a bit just to look and the paint is gone already and rust has started to form.

Final Decision
Just came home from my Line-X install. I could not be more pleased. It looks fantastic and I know I made the right decision. Thanks for the help and advice.

i got my truck sprayed with rhino lining! "Its Better than the competitors and dirt washes off with a rinse of water"... I can agree with the clean statement, not too sure if its better or worse all i know is this tough! I find cleaning line-x after a pile of dirt is very frustrating. The dirt gets into all the little holes etc. With the rhino it doesnt do that. I have had fork lift forks scratch on the spray, pallets dragged across it and dirt and crap and the stuff washes away with a garden hose and looks brand new... No scratches from the forks, no dirt, doesn't fade in the sun .. so happy, a bed spray with an undercoat spray was $600

Well, according the Rhino (Tuff Grip and Hardline) technical data sheets (which you can get upon request), they are not better than LINE-X. LINE-X has a higher tear strength, tensile strength, blah blah blah. But, it works for you and that's what counts!
