BAKFlip CS - Contractor Series Bed Rack
Anyone got one of these installed on their truck? I'm looking to add a bed rack to my 5.5' bed which already has a BAKFlip folding tonneau (FiberMax model). I called an spoke with BAKFlip about just buying the required rails and bed rack to add to my current tonneau, but just those alone are $1200-1300
If anyone does have this setup, how is the wind noise? Do you feel they're durable? I wish they were adjustable (up/down) so that they could be lowered below the cab height when not needed. Would you buy them again?

Thanks for the reply, Todd. Currently, it's a potential solution for transporting 2-3 longboard surfboards so that I can keep full use of the bed for camping gear and keep the tonneau cover closed. I'm still looking around, and might just hold off for a couple of trips to see how I manage.

No problem! There are currently no other rack systems that will integrate with the FiberMax so if you decide on a rack, that's your only choice.
I'm the product trainer for one of the largest truck accessory companies in the world so if there's something I don't know, I can usually get the answer. Let me know if I can be helpful!

That would be rad, sir. Lucky dog! Photos if no problemo,
Here's the installed pic.
If you want to take the rack off, loosen 2 screws on each side and slide it out of the rail.
I did hear slight whistling, and it was the loudest at about 45 mph. Playing Lynyrd Skynyrd's live in Atlanta version of Freebird with the volume set to 5, I couldn't hear the whistle.
With the radio off and the A/C on, the fan was louder than the whistle.
Scientific summary: If you're not going surfing, take off the rack. If you're gonna surf, run the A/C ...or at least play some Skynyrd!!

I went paddle boarding at the lake this weekend and the rack worked perfectly for me! You are exactly right.. long stuff on top, everything else locked under the cover.

This is absolutely fantastic - thank you! Your truck looks ridiculously awesome, too. LOVE the Beast wheels with your color (Bronze Fire?). That setup is ideal, but still on the fence about the cost, and am also considering doing a roof rack. But damn, the CS setup is really nice. Thanks again! This is the perfect reference.

I'm glad to help and thanks for the compliment! You hit the nail on the head with Bronze Fire too! I actually just got started with this truck and I'll be trying out all sorts of parts on it. If you want to see all the stuff that goes on it, you can follow me on Instagram @ToddsTruckLife.
