Default Anyone front mount a camera

I was thinking of getting a front mounted camera. Has anyone else installed one?
I was hoping just to plug in to the RCA yellow connector and switch to the video input when I was parking forward.
If you bought one, can you post a pic of it mounted. Did you get one that goes under the Ford emblem or how did you mount it? Do you leave it powered on 24/7?

You can see the front...can't see the back...don't see the point

I don't know about the person who made this reply, but I think a front facing camera would be very helpful. I know its tough to judge just how close you are to the vehicle in front of you when parking.

How close you want to get that you need a camera ...a forward sensor like what I have on the rear would be nice but, if you want one do it !!

Front as in used for Parking...I guess in a tight spot that would help

Or like in Russia & other Countries where pedestrians walk out in front of you to be hit & file a lawsuit against you ?
--when the meteorite went over a Russian city I was amazed by how many people caught it on dash-cams
--then even more amazed at the reason & the videos of people walking out in front of cars/trucks trying to be hit

Most people just use the bumper method

I have seen some cameras on ebay for short money. I think what the OP was looking for was if anyone out here has ever installed one.

I am pretty sure it comes stock on the Raptor, so a front facing camera isnt crazy. They even have them that go on your side view mirrors.

Check out Camera Source. I bought the front and rear cameras from them. The front is a replacement for your existing emblem. They are actually pretty cool.

Thanks Jersey Gray.
I have found them on eBay for as low as like $6. I am thinking of going with one I mount where the turbo takes in its air.
How did you power it? Does it get 12v's all the time or did you connect it to a certain fuse. How did you tie yours into your system? (RCA/Mirror etc)

I did buy a backup camera off of ebay for $10.
Works nice, but I do have a couple of issue.
First, because its a backup camera, the image is reversed! OOPS!
Second, I guess I forgot you cant leave video on while driving (I plugged the camera into the AV input) so it defeats the purpose of having a front mounted camera.
I think I am going to pull this camera out and get a lockpick (air model) and a Ford symbol mounted model.
Costs a wee bit more (lol) but at least it will function as I need it to, which is mostly for assisting while parking.
