I saw the poll but it included all years. Im looking at a s&b roush airaid or afe. Anyone use any of these on their 14 5.0?a Also i read that water can get on the open filter between the hood and fender is that true? I had an afe stage 2 on my ram and it cost me a motor.

Can't speak on the "s&b, airaid, or afe", however, have never had a "water" issue with the ROUSH (though did add a pre-filter sock).

The design of the 2009-2014 F-150's airbox is such that any water that may enter drains-out the bottom.

I have the stage 2 afe and have never had a problem with water getting in it on my 2014 5.0

I just washed my truck and when I was done I popped the hood and the air filter box cover was wet from water getting between the hood and fender
