Default 0-60. whats the best way to get faster??

i have an 07 f150 4.6(yes i kno 4.6 thats the start of not a good 0-60 lol).i have a k and n cold air intake and a si/do flowmaster.Around 4000rpm it starts hauln but my lows are slow.i run between a 10-11(its just plain sad) so how can i get those low rpms to get me goin at a reasonable price that is affordable??

What's the gearing in the rear end? Probably a 3.55 - might help to move to a 4.10 but you'll give up a mpg or 2

I would look into a tuner especially since you have an exhaust and CAI...custom tunes would be the way to go...Gears are also a good suggestion if you want it quicker...That 4.6 is a great motor but will only give you so much.

the gears if u buy ford racing ones which i suggest because the motive ones suk *** are usually around two fifty then the install is gonna cost u bout two fifty to four hundred depends on who u have do it and should only take the shop eight or less hours to do if they say it will take longer theyre tryin to rack up the price and the master install kit from fordracing is about ahundred then buy royal purple gear oil about eighty bucks or so and additive like ten bucks should cost u close to a grand total for a gear swap havin a respectful shop do it just make sure u buy everything before hand cuz the shop will have it but will charge u an arm and a leg for everything just because they can

Thumbs up shorty headers

if you want a better take off and you already have a cai and exhaust try to look for a cheap set of shorty headers i suggest hedman or pacesetter you don't have to get the ceramic ones or even the armor coated ones you can improvise with some heat wrap. these headers are easy to install they bolt on to the stock pipes i just don't know if they wouild void your warranty. they should give you a better pick up in the 0-60 range.

i do not believe a tuner leaves any traceable codes on the computer. That is the reason reset them back to stock prior to taking to dealer. The tuner holds your stock settings also.
