Default Accel Ignition coils - Your opinion counts!

Can anyone recomment / give opinion on Accel 4 valve direct fire coil packs? I need a set of 8 and am thinking about ordering these for my 2001 Ford Lariat.

http://www.northernautoparts.com/Pro...tModelId=16569

Thanks in advance.

You would probably want to get the ones for the 2V since you don't have the 32V engine do you.

The Accels are ok and they do provide some gains.

You might also look at Granatelli Motorsports and Sniper Tuning as they have several choices for coils

I have heard they are trash as well. If I needed to replace all of my coils I would definitely go with Granatelli.

Where did you get that info from? Sure they don't have a manufacturing facility right next door making their coils but the coils were designed and engineered by Granatelli. They are not re-badged, they are made specifically for Granatelli. They are not "someone elses stuff".

they have been doing it for years, the MAF meters, the intake tubes, the suspension pieces. Go do a search on the corral on GMS parts.

That's BS.......
Granatelli does not make their coils, they might assemble them but Microtech from Austrailia makes the actual coil.I know that for a fact.
