Default 5 Inch Body Lift by Performance Accessories

I recently purchased a 5 inch Premium Lift System by Performance Accessories and I was wondering if y'all could give me some feedback and advice on what I should do next. Was this a good purchase or not? Will I need to do anymore modifications to my truck once this is installed? New shocks or anything? I do not know that much about trucks, that is why I created a profile on here. I drive a 1998 Ford F150 XL 4.2L 2WD. Please give me some sort of feedback! I believe the lift is a 3 inch body lift and 2 inch leveling kit. Thanks!

Hows things going down in college station? Still lots of fine looking tale at daisy dukes?
it should come with everything you need. the two inches from the spacers on the spring wont require new shocks. I would invest in something to cover the gap between the frame and body in the wheel well but that's just for looks.

5"? Your sure? Thought the biggest they made was 3". I'm not completely against body lifts, have owned 2 trucks with them but 5" is to much and to the point of being unsafe.

Brotha you have no idea. I live on North Gate haha. But yeah I believe the lift comes with gap guards. Here is the link to the lift so you can maybe give me some more feedback! http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits...t_pn=PERPLS700

Why do you think it is unsafe? Do you think it will destroy my ball bearings? Here is the link to the lift

Tell me what you think

haha my last weekend in college station i spent over 200 at the bar in one night, north gate cost me alotta money and ruined my GPA haha. but he says 5 inches is unsafe because he thinks all five inches is coming from the body lift. 5 inch spaces on the body would be unsafe all around but your getting 3 from the body lift and 2 from the leveling kit. PA makes a good body lift my buddy has one on his truck. I went with a suspension lift tho just because i do more off roading with hunting and stuff.

It's a body lift/level combo to get 5"

I'm interested in hearing more about these "ball bearings".

Lol. It will work fine for what you want. It's just a 3" body lift with 2" coil spacers in the front. You should sit alittle higher than a stock 4wd with it.
