Default 4.6L V8 Air intake silencer removal...

Not really an "install", but many may like this one... Its FREE!!! Inside the elbow of the air intake there is a plastic funnel that can be removed with the help of a long flat head, pliers and needle noses. The outcome is, of course, a beefier sound under the hood and MAYBE a little better throttle response. Kinda hard to tell with the 'butt-o-meter"... ENJOY!!

Well, this may be the first and only free install around. Thanks Tx!

I am unsure about that; all I have heard about is the 4.6. I know the 5.4 does not have it.

you can also mod the place wher the intake pulls the air through the fender to make it bigger so you get more air flow.
the stock hole is only about 1.5 inches wide where the air comes from.
