Default 4.6l headers

are the 2003 4.6l and 5.4l exhaust manifolds the same?? They have the same part numbers on the ford website does that therefore make them the same?? and if they are the same will long tube headers for the 5.4l fit a 4.6?? I am asking this because i cannot find long tube headers for 4.6 anywhere!!

I'm not sure but I have been wandering the same thing but I found these...

It says they will fit but I'm trying to find out if anybody has ever heard of them or bought them. Looks like we're in the same boat here.

Alot of parts are interchangable on the 4.6 and 5.4 but Id do a little more research. You could try looking up the heads, see if they have the same ports and what not.

The two engines headers ARE different. Something about cylinder head angles, etc. I know of only two places that make them. Stainlessworks ($$$$$$$$), and Pacesetter, which has a couple versions, both a lot cheaper but not SS (which matters to those in the areas where salt/corrosion issues exist).
