3 inch level measurement

3 inch level measurement
I have ordered a 3 inch level for my truck to clear 35s. I got the level and it only measures out to be 2 inches up and down. I don't know a lot about them so I'm asking you guys if I ordered the wrong one or if this one adds two inches to my torsion bars?

it will add 2inchs plus the angles will change to add more height. That is how i was explained it.
