Did you adjust the King coil overs at all or just use them at the out of the box setting? And how much actual lift did you gain?
thanks!

I didn't adjusted them, King sends you the "tool" to adjust them if you want. Its more hassle then its worth. Unlike Icon that makes a spanner wrench, king's looks like a large punch and to be honest I wouldn't attempt it. If for some reason they did need to be adjusted (you put a full bumper and a winch or had more than 200lbs on the front end) I would send them back to king or filthy motorsports to have the coil changed for the added weight. I have a Fusion Bumper on it and if I had to make a guess, about 120-150lbs and it barely moved the suspension. As for the actual lift Ill get some measurements this evening.

Sure, just take your time on the passenger side, if you have an eco. Remove as many of the inner fender bolts and screws as you need too. It helps out alot, and so does and extra set of hands to hold the coilover while you are installing it. It probably weighs 40 lbs. As you remove the factory coilover the LCA doesnt like to play fair and I ended up taking the passenger side completely apart(cv shafts and wheel bearing) to find out it bought me nothing. Lets just say those cv shaft splines are tiny. Just get a good pry bar or something to get you leverage to pull down the LCA as far as needed in order to get the coilover out and in. On the passenger side, its takes a bit of a Tetris game to get the reservoir into place. I suggest having a beer first. You will have to push the reservoir toward the rear of the truck then get your paws in there to redirect it forward. Theres some sort of plastic nightmare ford designed on the passenger side. The driver side was half the install time. Remember to take your time, I pinched the abs wire on the driver side and all heck broke loose in the dash after it rained. I just caught the wire with the UCA bolt. The UCA's are a breeze, just dont snug them down until the ball joint is tight. With that being said, you will not move it by hand to get it in the knuckle. Just test fit it and if its off. Just give it some love with a rubber mallet and it will fall into place. Then tighten everything down and enjoy the truck. I love my kings. Now the icon rears are leaking again...so just pick up a set of fox if you need a set of rears.

I agree with all this.... mine went in fairly easy with a large pry bar to get the stock ones out. They are heavy as hell though and it was kinda awkward to get the top bolts lined up

I put the king 2.5's in the rear too.

What year is your truck, Im probably going to put the 2.5s in the rear once I sell my grille and bumper. I called a few places and they said the 2.5 will fit the 15+ trucks, but some had a rubbing issue. Not sure how

2016.... I added the oem rear wheel well liners and trimmed a very small amount just around the resi prior to putting them on, but honestly I don't think it needed it. I have 35x12.5 nitto ridge grappler tires on +18 9" wide wheels and no issues
