2015 Fx4 Ranch Hand Sag w/ no level?
I recently picked up a 15 Platty 5.0 Fx4. I love the truck, but really want to add a Ranch Hand.
My previous truck was a 2013 4x4, and when I added the brush guard it caused the front end to sag a pretty good bit. I leveled it 2.5 inches (rough country) and it looked great, but the leveling kit (incorrect installation on my shops part is my guess) destroyed my IWE's and caused me more headaches than you can imagine.
As a result, I don't want to level the new truck. I really like the look of the ranch hand, but I am concerned about pulling the front end down... Any advice, pictures, or experience with a ranch hand on an unleveled 2015 will be much appreciated.
For the bonus, what are the largest tires you guys are putting on unleveled? Suggestions?
Thanks a lot!

I have a Frontier grille guard on my 2015 Lariat and really like it, but they are pretty heavy for the front of these pickups. With no leveling kit, the black fascia under the bumper would scrape every time I pulled in or out of my driveway. I installed a 1.5" leveling kit and that took care of the problem for me. It basically returned the front end to stock ride height without excessive strain on the suspension components. I will post a picture of what mine looks like with the grill guard and level.
BTW - the Frontier grill guards are built heavier than a Ranch Hand and they cost a little less

I cannot understand how a level would destroy IWE's. In fact I see no way that it could happen.
Can you explain why you think it was the level that did in the IWE's?

In my opinion, it can't. The IWE is held into the wheel hub with a lock nut torqued to I think 22ft/lbs, and is bolted onto the back of the hub with four bolts. It can only go on straight. I agree with you, I have no clue how a level would mess that up. Now, too much front-end level could certainly take a toll on a CV joint because of excessive angle. But IWE? Not a chance.
