2013 and up Aftermarket Navigation (Witson)
From what I've see on other forms it seems that everyone is eagerly anticipating the release of Advent's new OFO1502 Navigation system for 2013 XLT and up F-150's. Like most of you I am getting pretty impatient...so I started to do a little research, and came across the Witson W2-C267 Navigation. I've never heard of this company and can't seem to find any reviews. The unit looks very clean and appears to have all the "options" the advent would offer and IMO looks better.
What the deal with this company? I'd love to hear reviews and opinions.

Looks interesting. Wonder if the unit uses the same badly translated English as their website. I also didn't see anything about retaining sync if that's a concern. Last I saw the Advent unit was cancelled?

That thing is killer, not happy it uses Win CE but for everything it does I would buy one in a heart beat, sync be damned.
Yeah Advent threw in the towel on their product, damn shame because they would have made a lot of $$$.

Yea it is basically this one here that is available through a company in Texas:

Give me a bit and I can get you a coupon code for $50 off as well. Few things I got from asking some questions:
Sync no longer works, but all other steering wheel controls do
Sat radio no longer works, but external sat tuner will but you lose all the info
iPhone 5 and up (lighting cable) does not work, but does come with 30pin and gets all the album info. iPhone 5 and newer would be streamed through bluetooth, so no album info
2 mics available for telephone use, one on the deck, and one wired one that can be put somewhere in the cab
Contacts will be downloaded, does not support any text on screen
Can be hooked up to WIFI if you purchase controller and turn phone on as hot spot
Free downloads of maps every February, comes with 2014 map base now
Plug and play via can bus wiring, no splicing
