Anyone know a good place to get a lift kit installed in/around Dallas, Texas? Went to 4WheelParts and they are charging around $1,000 for labor. I would do it myself but don't have the right tools and knowledge. Thanks for any help!

That's it? That's cheap! I think I paid about 2k in labor (but I'm from Long Island, we pay the most in the country for stuff)

Everything is relatively cheap in Texas. The communist states like Kaliforniastan price their trucks about 10k higher than we do in Texas. We also have no state income tax and our real estate is dirt cheap compared to many if not most parts of the country.

The average full suspension lift is 10-12 hours labour. You should be paying around $1000 wherever you go, as shop rates are around $100/hour give or take.


I would get it done somewhere they know what they're doing - don't settle for a cheaper price - if you have problems, somewhere reputable is more likely to help you down the road. Any Ford dealers down there specialize in lifted trucks? Maybe give them a shot?
