I have a K&N and love it so far. I have had mine on for over 100,000 miles and its still going strong...... 
Some will tell you don't do it unless you have a tuner with custom tunes cause it will run lean. I have an early 06 and maybe I just got one that doesn't have a problem, but I have yet to have any problem whatsoever...
