Default 2011 F150 5.0L Cold Air Intake k&n vs. AFE?

I'm looking to get a cold air intake for my 2011 F150 5.0 but I don't know which one is the best to purchase. I was wondering if anyone had any input on either the K&N or the AFE intakes. I want my tuck to sound louder without having to purchase an exhaust kit for now as well. I read that the K&N gives you more HP so i might go with that.

Here are the links to the intakes:

Thanks,
John

I have an aFe. It didn't make it any louder. Just get a Magnaflow. About the same price and gain some power.

I got the K&N on my 2010 FX4 and love it. It made it a little louder to start with, but the longer I keep it on there the better it sounds. It sounds like I actually have aftermarket exhaust in part of the RPM range. Exhaust is coming soon though!

The gains are not huge, but they are noticeable. I've also noticed slightly improved throttle response since I installed it.

This is not an ad by any means, but I bought mine from http://www.autoanything.com. I have bought things from them several times and have no complaints. I later found it for a cheaper price at http://www.streetsideauto.com. Since, AutoAnything has a one-year low price guarantee, I informed them that I found it cheaper somewhere else, and they quickly refunded the differrence plus $10. Just thought I would share both of these sites. They both have very competitive prices.

I just installed a K&N 63-2581 cold air intake on my 5.0 and boy does it sound good. I do have dual flow master 40's. It sounds like the old 4 barrel when you get on it.
