Default Is it lowered or not?

Does my truck look like its been lowerd in the back? Since I bought it, it kind of always looked lowered. Someone put a 5th wheel hitch in the bed and I've wondered if they changed the springs for beefier ones and then used shackles to lower the ride height. The springs have MEXICO stamped on them. I don't know if that is normal or not. Tell me what you think.

does not look lowered to me. it probably has a softer spring rate being a reg cab/short bed, then towing a 5th wheel trailer(really?, sounds pretty scary for such a small truck) may have caused spring sag all the way around. not to mention that just the weight of the 5th wheel hitch assembly itself is fairly heavy and will cause sag over time, especially if its left in the bed even when not being used for towing.

lowering shackles would be a good bit longer than stock ones. they should be fairly easy to distinguish from stockers.

OK, thanks. It's a ball hitch that can be tucked away to make the floor level.
