after having read good things about these mats, i decided to order one for the rear, with the intent of ordering the fronts if i like them. while they do provide good coverage, they are light and frankly feel flimsy. i have husky xact's in the front, and have been told they are making one for the rear supercab sometime this summer, at which time i will order one. this mat may be ok for some, but i prefer the heavy, solid feel of a thick rubber mat. just my opinion

Do you have any idea of the material, weight of this mat?

Don't buy them. The rear one is good. The front one don't retain the water. I am using them for the summer but in winter I will replace the front with a better slush and snow retaining mat. I guess in China they don't have much snow so they are not too concerned.

I've got the Weathertechs in my F150 & Husky Weatherbeaters now in our Grand Cherokee...happy with both.

Prior to getting the Huskys, I thought I'd try the 3D Maxpiders since I could get them at Costco & their return policy is awesome.

While the material of the Maxpiders seems high end and high tech, the coverage that the front mats provided proved less than ideal. Absolutley no coverage under the accelerator pedal, whereas both Weathertech & Husky provide complete coverage under there.

As for the weight of them, they're very light...almost flimsy in their lightness.

Another issue is durability. Check out this message thread (Post #40) where as guy is saying that he has wear now where his heel sits & the plastic retaining grommets are failing.

They are very light. I would estimate they all weigh less than half the weight of just the rear factory rubber mat.

I work in road construction and Have had my over a year now and love them!

One year with mine and no wear. I would buy them again.

Default Worst Mats I ever owned

Here is the out come of these poorly designed mats. Originally the mats were designed with a lip to retain the water. Now they have no lip and notice what happens to the water. Not only does it wind up on the sill but it seeps under the mat and the water with salt gets absorbed by the carpets. My truck is only 7 months old and I have salt marks on my carpets.
I purchased them from Partsengine.ca and when I addressed the problem of not having a lip as shown on their website, they told me that I would have to pay return shipping and a restocking fee. This is why I no longer buy from them.
Please note that the manufacturer of these mats is somewhere in Asia. They are NOT made in the USA or Canada.
In my opinion, you are better off going to Walmart and buying mats from there.

I have never seen something like this before.

I had to scrape the ice and lifted the mat.

I have to say, I have nothing but good things to say about my 3D Maxpiders. This is my second winter with them (living in Ontario we usually get a fair bit of snow and slush) and I haven't had a problem. I usually don't enter my truck without kicking off most of the snow off my boots - force of habit really - but this does help cut down how much liquid and salt I bring into my truck.

I also ordered mine from www.partsengine.ca (I too was going to buy from Costco, but they were cheaper at partsengine.) The outer layer has certainly been strong enough to handle to wear that I've put them through. Long story short, I'd buy them again as they have served me well.
