2004 black headlight assy replacement
I was looking at Hella black replacement units for my 2004 F150. But I'm also looking at 210.00+ shipped. On eBay there are Black headlight replacement units just pop out the old ones and swap the bulbs.. Those are between 75 and 95 sometimes shipped.... what's the difference? they look the same..... I know you probably get what you pay for. one auction has a condensation disclaimer.. that's scary.. What I worry about is the outside lens... is it the same quality as factory? My 2004 with 60,000 miles is just as clear as new.... will the aftermarket lens hold up in the northeast 4 seasons?? All I want to achieve is a black inside look. My truck is black and I want to kill some of the chrome look in the front end. Any suggestions?

If you seal them prior to install, you should not have a problem with condensation...even the good set's need to be sealed with some clear RTV.
