Default 2" Belltech Rear Lowering Kit

Hello everyone

First post here, I have a 2007 FX2 extended cab and I am fixin to do some mods to it.

My first mod will be the belltech 2" rear shackle drop kit.

So has anyone put this kit on their truck? My biggest concern is weather I will have to reaim my headlights and if so what are the procedures.

Lets see what kinda advice I get on this post and I will bring up the rest of them on another post.

Thanks

STRETCH

i wished i knew the correct procedure for you... i know you aim your headlights at a wall. and then you have to be a certain distance away from the wall and the center of the headlight beam has to focus on a certain heighth... but first of all you need to make sure you do or do not need shims for the rearend... for isntance if your angle is off on the rearend to transmission then the u joints and other things will wear prematurely...

i put a DJM drop leveling kit on my '05. you dont have to adjust your headlights because the change isnt that drastic. its a VERY easy install if you have air tools.

So how do you know if you need a shim kit? I saw a write up saying that one brand comes with a shim kit, but I am pretty sure mine does not.

Any suggestions here.

Thanks

kits with out shims are cheaper and will produce less then quality ride characteristics due to the change in driveshaft angle
