Default 2.5 inch leveling kit install problems

I am in the middle of installing a 2.5 leveling kit on my 2012 f150 eb and got it all torn down and after finally getting the shock in the lower control arm will not move so I can't get the upper ball joint in. Do you think the cv axle popped out not allowing enough slack to uper ball joint? If so how do you re install cv axle?

Please post pictures. Are you jacking up the lower control arm with a floor jack?

Yes I'm using a floor jack under the control arm and the is no flex in the suspension on either side just lifts the truck up. Starting to think the angle is to much for the cv axle or they pulled out

If the lower ca isn't moving may have to loosen the control arm bolt so it can swing a little more. I know mine was pretty stiff but didn't have to.

Had this same issue when I installed a 2" leveling kit on a friends 2012 F150. The CV joint actually came out of the axle when we were installing it. The only way we got it back together was to take most of the pressure off of the joint with a long pry bar, then you can feel inside of the boot where the CV joint goes into the axle, it will be loose if the joint popped out (you can just squish the black boot and feel the shaft and end of the axle). You will have to line up the CV joint with the splines in the axle to get everything back together. Have a friend run the pry bar, then you use one hand to guide the CV joint into the axle while slightly rotating the hub to line up the splines on the shaft. It took us about 20 minutes to get everything lined up, so be patient!!
