Default Windshield wiper gremlins

Looking to see if anyone else has experienced what I have over the past couple weeks.

My 2012 Raptor seems to have windshield wiper gremlins. My wipers seem to come on by themselves. It's often after a recent rain, but tonite, no rain, but they just came on as I drove on the highway.

Do the 2012 Raptors have rain sensing wipers? If so, is there a way to turn this feature off?

Is this a warranty issue? I purchased an extended warranty.

Just hoping someone else might have experienced this as I have never ever had a previous vehicle start acting up like this. I would like to do some more trouble shooting.

Thanks in advance.

Likely the multi-function switch. but for the cost, better off get a steering column control module. Ive put modules in about 10 vehicles with this concern and it has fixed them all. I've also never duplicated this concern, but it is well known lol

Hi sheeep and SilverBackSuperCrew,

Pass along the mileage of your rigs. I'll see how I can help shed some light on those gremlins.

Fixed my issues by installing a new windshield wiper assembly. Purchased on Amazon. Install took 20 minutes. Make sure you have a 5.5 mm socket or you can make a 7/32 work.

Here's the link to the part:
