Default Will raising the front spring perch void warranty?

Will raising the front spring perch void the warranty? I was at the dealer today and an employee whispered "Hey we're not supposed to tell you but you can raise the front end by raising the perch, but it voids your warranty"... Is that true? I don't understand why the owner would have an option that could void they're warranty.

you were given some bad info....My dealership raised mine..no issues. It's a factory part designed for adjustment. go to the middle setting...other wise it will ride super had and you will lose some travel.

Thanks for the info. Did you have to recalibrate any of the sensors after raising it?

You'll need a alignment after the perch.

How would it void the warranty? It is factory installed equipment.

I took mine into the local ford dealer for an alignment after having top perch done, and they showed me letter from ford stating that they are "not adjustable, and any adjustments outside of factory settings will void warranty." so basically you have to find a mod friendly dealer.

Thanks for all the info guys!!! I will be calling a few dealers to find out who will do it and not give me a hassle about the warranty.

Several dealers here will not cover any damage to the CV boots if you are on top perch. But other than that there isn't much they can blame on the adjustment.
