Ford says that the motor alone in my Wife's GT500 is 20K. What is the cost of the 6.2?? What would otherwise be the cost comparable to a decked out platinum, now the sticker would be possibly 15K more....

Just guessing the cost of the 6.2 at 5K.....

If I recall correctly it is about 5K. There is a guy on the Raptor section that blew up his with a SC. To do the entire Hennessey SC premium package is like $20K. Just a comparison. I doubt for half that I'd go Hennessey.

I don't know the 6.2 but i was looking at a ford crate engine of a 5.4 at over 8k. Crazy considering a rebuilt is about $2500 plus core.
