If they do a V8, they'll undersize the turbos for longevity like they did for the 3.5. I'm not saying the 3.5 is a slouch, but it can do so much more safely.

This will also be a very premium option. I doubt most people would be able to justify the extra price. My reasoning would be, because i want it. Lol. Just saying.

Not really, you were banned b/c you were talking smack on gen 1 owners without ever owning or knowing much about the gen1s. I for one never had an issue with the 3.5L, i think it's a great platform, but, you still managed to bash me as a gen 1 owner on frf...but, i will agree with you that there was a lot of bashing going back and forth that was unnecessary and served 0 purpose but to make birdman have to make a gen 2 along page. i for one wish it would all be under one roof, a lot to learn about both platforms.

Birdman allowed the Gen I guys free reign. That's why it got out of hand.

It was like that well before your arrival. To expect it to change is unrealistic. That's what makes FRF a lot of fun, guys have thick skin, the ones that don't usually end up leaving or banned. Or **** and moan about the site.

Well sure the bias is ok for those who are held in favor. Those who are fair minded people however, you would expect them to have a problem with that wouldn't you?

Truth be told, dissenting opinion wasn't tolerated. Which is why I got the ban hammer. It does seem that he's finally cleaned his board up where the discussion has been more open. Gen I guys haven't been posting all that much. Maybe they're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel

a ton of 6.2 lovers were banned over the years, just for being complete douches. there will always be bias...it would be the same over at ford raptor 2 if a v8 showed up wouldn't it? most are going to be biased towards something they enjoy or are familiar with. there are open minded individuals over at frf, many of whom joined fr2...but, bashing dudes over their preference, be it 6.2 / 3.5L or gen 1 / gen 2 accomplishes nothing - it does get a good laugh sometimes. zanemaster has plenty of dissenting opinions and is still very active on frf and most guys seem to welcome discussions with him. i personally got sick of the back and forth. it's fun for a bit, then gets old. while i won't buy one and feel pretty indifferent towards it, i look forward to seeing it perform at runs. though the interior is awesome, i will say that.
