Lmao an extra inch and inch and a half of suspension travel? Hardly raptor territory! What a fail on Toyota's part if truly meant to be an answer to the raptor.

I doubt they would use the smaller Tacoma vehicle for the base if they were trying to make a 'Raptor' competetor. The Tundra.... maybe.

Or maybe competition for a future non-existant Ranger.... but not the Raptor.

wow that's pretty sad they think that can actually compete with a raptor. i'm not a fan of toyota at all but i'll give them props for TRD, they make some damn good quality and performing aftermarket parts. i used to drive a scion tc and even the TRD parts list for it was huge, and those parts perform great.

The only comparison made to the Raptor was the OP.
or am I missing something in the article that states it was supposed to compete?!?

Not a toyota fan.... but trying to figure out what I'm missing here.

Obviously you have never owned a late 80s or early 90s model Toyota pickup.
