Nope. It doesn't have a TPMS sensor in it either

I'd do, I purposely added a sensor to the spare for this reason.

And just a heads up...raptor spare matches the wheels / tires on the truck...

Pet peeve of mine. My tire matches but it was on a steel rim with no TPMS. So 20% of your tire cost is wasted. So I bought a matching rim and a TPMS. Now I can rotate.

That's funny that you say that, I was pleasantly surprised when I stuck my head under the truck and looked last fall, only to discover that exact fact.

I'm running a winter wheel/tire combo now, but was considering working the spare into the rotation when the summers go on , later this week actually.(optimist)

Good to know that the spare will need a sensor, think I'll do that. Thanks, good info.

I knew that. Just seems pointless

How so? I do it with the duratracs bc of how quickly they wear. Adding the sensor is just piece of mind for me...reprogramming takes a few minutes and a $30 tool...

Potentially creating uneven wear is why I wouldn't do it. Plus if in the event I need to use the spare I don't want it worn down for piece of mind. And well, it's a spare lol. No real reason or logic, just my thoughts.

At the very least, it's a good idea to exercise the crank mechanism to drop the spare and lube up the cable etc.

You don't want to be sitting at the side of the road with a seized up spare that won't crank down.

Ironic you say uneven wear, by not working the spare into the mix, that's exactly what you're getting.
