Lightbulb Need opinion from Raptor owners!!!

Ok guys here is the deal, I have a 2011 f150 (eco)20k and a 2012 gt500 with 2800 miles. I have always had my eye on a raptor and now my dealer is getting a all blacked 2013 raptor decked out. I am considering trading both vehicles in for the raptor . I would have no payments and get a check from the dealer for 23,000. I dont really drive the gt500 much and is stored 8 months out of the year. What do you guys think? is the raptor worth it? Do you guys love you raptors? Help me out here folks

Do it! You won't believe how much fun you can have, both on, and off the road. I sold a 28 year old Z car with 58000 miles, it was perfect, but not worth anything, even though it was stored most of the time. I drive the Raptor, every day.

I love my Raptor and do not regret it for a second. Although I will have to buy another sports car for a second vehicle.

So guys after test driving one i was very impressed. I did not like the only way to access the front camera was to be in 4x4 low. That would be a great asset for parking and what not. Also the instrument cluster did not impress me that much but thats about the only two things i didn't like about it. But after all that I crunched the numbers again and found that I would be loosing about 20k in the end. 2012 gt500 i have paid 40k so far and 30k on my 2011 f150 eco which equals 70k minus the raptor 51k which means i would loose about 20k in a matter of 2 years. Plus my tuned eco is still faster then the raptor, see you guys in my rear view mirror...lol

1. Its never a gooooood idea to trade in to a dealer. You'll almost always get more selling yourself.
2. I seriously doubt that your Ecoboost is stock. ISo you're probably gonna mod your raptor too. And there are plenty of power adders.
3. Don't buy a Raptor to be a street queen. It makes the rest of us look bad.
