Default Suggestions for a dealer for 2 Raptors

I want to place an order for 2 Raptors. These are for me and not to be resold. Two properties. I have been calling around locally, Southern California, and getting the same story $15-$25 over msrp and that it is non negotiable due to the fact they are getting people writing checks for these prices. If they are actually getting these prices more power to them but I have to believe there has to be a dealer out there that wants to place an order and make a sale on two trucks. Appreciate any leads. Or I might just have to wait......which stinks.

Also if someone would clarify for me- if a customer orders a Raptor does this count against the dealers number of trucks they can order? Or can a dealer order as many as they have customers wanting to order?

Every dealer knows how many they can get for 2017. Some got one, some got 20+. All based on how many trucks they sell and previous raptor sales.

You will just have to start calling dealers and see who has two allocations left.

Dealers are only allocated "X" number of vehicles based on their size and turnover rates. Retail and stock orders are applied to the total allocation. The dealers that sold a lot of Raptors in previous years will likely get the higher allocation numbers.

Thanks! I think I may have found a somewhat "high volume" ford dealer to do my deal.

I live in central California. All the dealers here wanted 10k over. In Sacramento and the Bay Area they were 15-30k over.

This seems unreal to me. I guess if you're "rich", it's possible, as you may have "money to burn." But still, Wow!

Why not just wait a little bit, and when those dopes who can't afford the high payments get their rigs repossessed, move in and save the thousands in depreciation? Lol

Or wait for a year or two at max and buy one for msrp or probably less!
