I don't know from trolls but I am curious about the Raptor hauling limit. My wife has green-lighted me on a new truck and I'm waffling between an FX4 and a Raptor. I want to be able to occasionally haul bark/soil. Should I disregard concerns or is this a huge point in favor of an FX4?

Thanks yall.

Max Payload on the Raptor is 920lbs, Max towing is 6000lbs
Max Payload on the Fx4 is 2810lbs, max towing is 9700lbs.

That all depends on how you option it out though. I'd go to Fords official site and build up a truck yourself

If you plan on hauling an entire bed full of logs you will be absolutely bottom out on the raptor. So I would suggest you get an idea of what kind of a load you plan on hauling and go build a truck that fits your needs. If a raptor will do what you want and you like the raptor. Then go for it!

I don''t think most guys here actually use their raptors as work trucks lol. There is a limit to how much you can load in a 5.5' bed though, so 900lbs isn't that bad.

A 5.5' bed of logs is hardly enough to start a campfire

Now HERE's a load of logs
