SCREW vs SCAB
I am curious what the breakdown is between those ordering the SCREW vs the SCAB for 2017.
Looking at the video's of the 2017's at the plant (which was awesome to see) it became clear that the majority of those were SCREW. I only saw a couple of SCAB there.
I ended up ordering the SCAB when I thought about the age of my kids and being able to actually fit it in my garage. Not sure if my garage is shorter than others but it is only 234" long (wall to door). I know the SCREW is 231.9" and just wouldn't really work without hitting the wall occasionally for me. The SCAB is 220" long.
I also thought it was pretty cool that the Raptor SCAB was the only version with a 5 1/2 bed.
What am I missing... why does it seem like everyone else is getting the SCREW?

All Raptors have 5.5ft beds. The crew cab version has more usable space in cab and is very very functional. The the supercab is tough - can't use back seats for anything... Feels like a regular cab.
When I built my house, I built my garage extra deep. I can actually fit a super duty crew cab, 8ft bed in my garage and walk all around with ease.

I ordered a Scab. My last several trucks were Scabs except for my 2014 RCSB. I only have more than one passengers a couple times a year and I like the look of Scabs better.

Some people like the bigger gas tank and increased towing on the screw as well.

SCAB all the way for me. The SCREW is just the exact opposite of everything the Raptor stands for. FORD just makes them in order to vacuum up the easy cash.

That is a nice way of saying they are using their Raptor desert race truck as a mall crawling station wagon....ugh...

Not true. The most important thing for desert racing is your crew and you need to be able to move gear as well as people around. Nothing more useful then a crew cab. A 6.5 bed would be nice, but you can't have it all.
