recommended tire pressure?
Hey guys, I have a F150 SCrew and picked up a set of Raptor rims and tires... what does Ford recommend as a tire pressure in these? Thanks for the help.

44 all the way around... raptor TPMS alerts at 36. I wonder if ours can be programmed for that, if it does it automatically, or if we're out of luck?

44psi for street use but if you hit soft sand way too much air. bfg a/t arent great off road tires but are good for street and off roading. 44psi might be too high for a standard f150 because of the weight difference between the trucks. my 6.2 weighs somewhere around 6k lbs and uses 44psi. you might want to run closer to what your truck is suppose to have but you can alway play with the pressure to see what your truck likes best.

Whats the max PSI on the tire? If you want maximize your mileage. air them up a a few PSI short of the max. My bfgs on my fx4 are load range E max pressure is 80psi. I have them set at 60. yea it rides a little rough, but its a truck
I believe the raptor tires are load range D and have a max pressure of 50psi. Id have no problem putting 45psi in them.
Good luck!

Well i cant really say. because I changed the tires out at 1000 miles. so the truck wasnt even broken in yet. But now I have 3500 on the truck and it seems like the mileage is going up. I do mostly around town...11 miles to work lots of turns and stop lights. my average right now for the tank is 15.2.
My trip B has since i changed the oil at 1200 miles and the average is 15.0 flat.
Mind you, im talking about an FX4, with a 5.0 not a raptor with the 6.2
