Default Console Gun Vault for Raptor

I am looking for a console gun vault for my 2010 Raptor. This is for firearms, not electronics. I have seen one from Console Vault. They state that the part number is 1026 and will fit the Raptor. I'm looking at the keyless lock version. My understanding is that this screws or bolts into the base of the console - you assemble it inside the console. However, my Raptor has no screws that I can see. The price for the ConsoleVault is $269 + $16 shipping.

Does anyone know of, or has installed, a lockable gun safe/vault in the Raptor? Please include prices, plus any 'gotchas' for installation.

Lastly, I am seeking a larger box to secure long guns in for the bed that does not extend over the side ralis, e.g. a toolbox-like one that is quite popular. The truck will have a bed cover, so it must fit underneath. Preferably along the side, but I am open to all suggestion.

I ordered the Console Vault listed in the URL below with the combination lock. Model is 1026, price was $259 + free shipping. Used the coupon code "VAULT" that I found in a thread somewhere. I will update with my review after I receive and install it.

BetterBuilt (http://www.dawsbetterbuilt.com/) makes many types of bed boxes. I found one of theirs called, appropriately, 'wheel well gun safe". It holds to long guns with some extra room. I'm holding off on that purchase at least until I get more information from them.

UPDATE:

Received the console vault and installed it. The task completed in <10 minutes. I cheated and built it on my kitchen counter, then disassembled it, and put it in the truck. One thing I haven't figured out yet is how to reset the combination lock. There are instructions, but I haven't found the hidden reset switch yet.

The unit is assembled inside the console itself. I removed everything from inside the console and had to insert the locking lid first. If you try this you might think that the thing doesn't fit. It's supposed to be very tight and it is. Once you get the lid in place you open it up and insert the rest of the pieces starting with the left and right sides, followed by two 'L' brackets for the front and back, then lastly an 'X' shaped bracket for the bottom. There are 6 13mm nuts and 4 acorn cap nuts to install.

Overall I'm satisfied. As soon as I get the combination lock reset the job will be complete.

The only drawback I can think of is that the tray for coins, pens, toll tags, etc, no longer fits in with this model lock. It might fit back in with the key lock though as it's a lower profile than the combo lock. So for now the tray is taking a break. I thought one solution might be to modify the tray itself. One would have cut it, fit a new side to it, which I thought would work. However, even if the tray fits, I envisioned a scenario where I need quick access to the console and dump the contents of the tray - coins and all - all over the truck. So I think the tray will be going to eBay.
