I would of been glad to pay 53K for mine. We get screwed on vehicle prices in canada even tho our dollar is worth more than the American dollar.

I payed just over 60K for my fully loaded Screw and That was a deal. The normal price I have seen around Calgary is 65K.

I was looking at the Raptor's briefly before I got my Platinum. The price on the one I wanted was around 55K with no markdowns, no rebates no price haggling, nothing.

Seeing as how 1USD = 0.95 CND I don't think think the exchange rate has much to do with it.

A few years ago when our dollar was only worth 65 American cents the dealers used the exchange rate as an excuse. Now that our dollars are close on a regular basis there should be no reason for a 10K Canadian mark up.

You sure that there isn't some kind of importation tax?

Isn't the F150 built in the US?

I doubt the exchange rate is the source of the price hike.

I don't think there is a import tax. Even if there was some fords would be cheaper here because some are made in Canada but still cost less in the the U.S

Dude, that was a GT500KR (King of the Road). And that wasnt us marketing it up. All the regular GT500's come up to us from the same place (the Factory) Well the GT500KR's leave the factory like normal, and then go to another shop/upfitter place where they're turned in to a GT500KR. And THEY are the ones that add the "addendum". Did you notice the regular window sticker, and then the other window sticker right next to it stating all other special stuff? I'm guessing not.
