Default Question on width of Raptor

I have done a lot of searching, and learned the Raptor is 7 inches wider than a stock f150. The point I'm looking to clarify is whether that means 7 inches total measuring from mirror to mirror or whether the body panels are 7 inches wider and the trucks measure the same mirror to mirror.

Any help is appreciated. I don't want to spend that much money for a truck that wont fit through the garage door.

The mirror widths are the same for the Raptor and the F150. The fenders on the Raptor are wider.

Go to Ford.com, they have every measurement you could want on every truck/car they sell.

Technically, the Raptor isn't any wider than a non Raptor. The mirrors are the widest point and they are the same. The fenders, suspension / rear axle is wider but still not as wide as the mirrors.

You have that small of a garage, yet you can "afford" a Raptor? No wonder why other countries make fun of America for having the worst economy with the most amount of debt...

"Worst" economy? Break open a newspaper much?

Maybe the guy doesn't want to move, but his garage happens to be small.

The issue could very well be the garage door opening. I have a 3 car garage with 3 separate single doors. It's a good size garage once the cars are inside. I've got a buddy with a similar 4 car garage - all single width doors. Huge garage, but limited to what you can squeeze through those single doors.

I've got a Raptor on order and am also concerned about fitting it through the doorway. I've measured that I'll have about 2 inches to clear on either side. Not a lot of room....
