Default OEM Hid Conversion

Hey guys I just bought a 2012 Raptor that I will be picking up on Wed. I currently have a 2013 FX4 with the OEM hids. Id like to swap the hids to the raptor since it does not have them. Does anyone know what is needed to do the conversion? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

There is no harness to make the 12s work in your newer truck. Have no fear though. Get in touch with 4x4ledtruckleds on here for LED bulbs that cleats work in the OEM housing. He has great reviews of his lights - even the PIP haters figured out his stuff worked great.

You'll just need a conversion harness to make the OEM 13-14 HID's work on trucks originally equipped with halogens.

There are a couple of places that sell them, The Retrofit Source and Raptor Retrofit are a few that do.

I don't think there is anything out there to swap halogens into a truck originally equipped with HID's though.

Right - again, cant swaplight between these two particular trucks. There is no harness to make a halogen work in an HID equipped truck.

OP - definitely give 4x4truckleds a look. He can answer your questions. You will want to get away from the HID anyway.
