Default need help! looking to buy a used raptor

I currently have a 2010 F250 diesle that I love but i dont drive it much. I live in a small town now and i average 2 mile round trips. Im looking at a gasser because I know the diesle need to get warm and im not giving it a chance. Im looking at a 2011 Raptor with 120k miles on it. carfax is good on it and it is a clean truck. how is the 6.2 should i be worried with the miles? I drive about 3k miles a year so it would take years before the miles gets really high. Ive seen people getting 300+ on the 6.2. any advise would be awesome

What's making you want to go with the Raptor? You pay a significant amount of extra money just because it is a raptor. A non raptor F150 that is a couple years newer, optioned the same, and with half the miles is priced about the same.

I'd have a dealer see if the code was cleared recently and the go back to the place you bought it from.

Sounds suspicious. How many miles did you go before the light came on?

I made it about 5 miles away. Went back they said it was the mass airflow sensor and cleaned it and reset the truck and it lasted about an hour. I'm now 6 1/2 hours away from the dealer. Would the dealer here be able to see the last times it was cleared. Dating back several clears?

it may just be a bad O2 sensor. The 6.2s are dead nuts reliable, I'm sure it's just a sensor.

You usually have a few days in most states to bring the vehicle back. I would consider that. That's not the only Raptor for sale at that price.

Well the Ford dealer told me they will stand behind the sales and to take it to a dealership to get the work done and they would pay for it so it's supposed to get worked on tomorrow morning and I will see what they say
