Default How reliable is a Raptor for 300mile daily driver?

A friend of mine has an oilfield job where he drives around 300 miles a day in Texas/Oklahoma.
He wants to get a Raptor with less than 40K miles and keep it stock. (He currently has a lifted 2007 GMC Sierra with Nitto Mud Grapplers)

He does not care about gas mileage, just wanted to know about the reliability of the Raptor.

Thank you

Would say he would be just fine. Would trust the 6.2 over the 3.5.

Agreed that the 6.2L should treat him fine. Mine has been strong and trouble-free from day one (knock on wood).

300 mile work commute, I would find a place to stay closer to work, at 60 miles thats 5 hours wasted driving a day.

There are a couple guys who have hit 100,000 miles on their Raptor's in about 2 years with no troubles. A few them being in the oil field.

I would buy a king ranch f250 fx4 before I did a raptor for that long of a commute.
at least the high mileage super duty would have decent resale value next year when oil field jobs tank because oil is dirt cheap right now.
