How reliable is a Raptor for 300mile daily driver?
A friend of mine has an oilfield job where he drives around 300 miles a day in Texas/Oklahoma.
He wants to get a Raptor with less than 40K miles and keep it stock. (He currently has a lifted 2007 GMC Sierra with Nitto Mud Grapplers)
He does not care about gas mileage, just wanted to know about the reliability of the Raptor.
There are a couple guys who have hit 100,000 miles on their Raptor's in about 2 years with no troubles. A few them being in the oil field.
well.. I know what I'm doing for a living.. Haha jk
2003 Ford F-150 SuperCrew King Ranch in black and beige ( color combo made for 1 year!! ) the previous owner's son spilt a coke in the passanger seat and it ate it. ( if you have seen pictures of it and wondered WTF happened ) it is owned by member FordFan2006 and me. ( we are brothers )
I would buy a king ranch f250 fx4 before I did a raptor for that long of a commute.
at least the high mileage super duty would have decent resale value next year when oil field jobs tank because oil is dirt cheap right now.
