I think it is a clear and good business decision to market these two wheels finished they way they are with one being optional and costing additional. I think it was a deliberate marketing maneuver to capture a greater amount of potentials paying for the option, even if it only captures a small percentage. From what I have been reading online (its all true, I swear!) there seems to be a decent amount of people claiming to have selected the bead-locks. Some, not because they are forged bead-lock capable either. Probably been reading too many conspiracy theories too though?!
