Unless your ready to ponny up $10K plus you will not get a factory paint job at a body shop. Sure you might be able to get it painted for cheaper, but the quality would be far less. Just think about it for a moment, engine has to come out to paint the engine compartment, doors must come off, dash out, seats, bed comes off, replace all of the decals that will have to be removed for paint, etc... basically they will have to disassemble the whole truck, paint it, then reassemble it. Even then, they would not be able to perfectly match the factory paint job.

Ford, Honda, Chevy, etc.. will never allow us to pick our color. This is because they make many thousands of trucks at a time on the assembly line, all of them the same color, then switch to another color and keep going. They will not ruin that efficency to paint one truck a different color.

They've got "terrain." That's kind of a camo thing. Close enough?

Yeah, I've seen the Terrain color you mentioned, but I still think an olive green in a matt finish would look awesome

A lot of manufacturers can paint multiple colors one after another. Our f150s included, They build them in order of order dates and priorities, and they do paint different colors one after another. youtube search the f150 Dearborn plant - mega factories
