Any truth to rumors of beadlock delays?
First I heard carbon was a delay but it seems that that is not the case as more recent builds have it. Now I'm hearing that beadlocks are 3 months out. I've seen some of these recent orders that have them but that could just be the initial batch and maybe now they are out. Just curious if anyone has any real info. Just wondering if maybe this is why I don't have a build date. Ordered early August and mine has both carbon & beadlocks

Don't have any info but also have Beadlocks on my order (Sept order) and also have no build date. I didn't do the carbon fiber.
Do you know what the priority is with your order? I am not even sure I am getting past the priority/dealer allocation for the order content to be causing the delay.

I have read a few places that they are on the delay list.

I spoke a couple of days ago to a General Manager and General Sales Manager. They both said the Carbon Fiber and the Bead Lock Wheels are causing delays. They also agreed to let me be their last customer that can order one from one of their two dealerships (lucky number 13). Helps that in my professional life I worked for the owner of the dealership.

Starting to wonder if I should drop the carbon & beadlocks. Then just wait till someone eventually puts some beadlocks up for sale. Guess I'd just have to deal with never having the carbon.

To the XL/XLT snobs .... NO, they are not "mostly work trucks." You're an idiot if you think that. Walk your local Ford lot and you'll see 50% or more are XLTs. It's the biggest selling F150, period. I have an XL with the STX/XL Sport Appearance package. In no way whatsoever is this package marketed to "work trucks." 20" wheels, body colored bumpers, bucket seats w/ center console, 8" SYNC screen? If you think that the majority of consumer F150's are Lariat+, you are wrong. Ask your dealer.
Next, mark my words on this -- the 2021 next-gen F150 WILL HAVE PUSH BUTTON START ON ALL MODELS. The possible exception could be the plain white fleet trucks with rubber floors. Every consumer model will have push-button including STX's.
When I'm proven right, you come back here and acknowledge it.

I do wish they would make LED headlights and taillights a standard option on all trim levels.
Now.....back to talking about the beadlock delays that were going on 2+ years ago.
