Every manufacturer world wide has embraced turbocharged engines for the benefits provided now and into the future.
Ford has a goal of 90% of its engine lineup to be based on ecoboost technology.
Everyone is welcome to their opinions and preferences but please acknowledge reality.
The old school days are done. Finished.
New school is in session, and they have much more to teach you.
Aluminum bodies, lightweight compact engines, more power per cube, frame innovations, suspension evolution, and.... Better economy! Economy does matter. There will be no truck future without it.
From transport trucks to smart cars they are all improving economy. It's simply good business to be efficient.
So cry all you want about the demise of the 6.2 but its day is done.
You can maybe hack the ecoboost stereo to amplify the V8 noise enhancement coming in 2015 on to sooth the wounds.

Was it not you who earlier this year said I was wrong and crazy when I said the new Raptor was going to be a hot rod eco? Even though I had already seen and used the turbos lol. I could tell you more about the motor but I would get in trouble :p honestly I wish ford would of made a 4.0 ltr v8 with turbos so the die hard v8 guys could be happy along with the boost junkies

I'm glad you are happy with your turbos. My naturally aspirated big old V8 is doing just fine, thank you for your concern.
