I read somewhere that in the 2018 Raptor it might have a 5.0 Ecoboost.

I read somewhere that Ford is selling the entire company to GM and once Obama is done as President he will be running the new company known as Liberal motors.

I think this was the press release

So I just briefly read thru these 7 pages. Is there any new info? I could order a '16 Platinum or Lariat FX4 in a month or so. Or I could wait for a SCREW Raptor. I could wait till this time next year but wouldn't really want to wait longer if they're going to make SCAB's first. Those of us who would like the SCREW model could be a year and half out.

That's not very impressive. My 2015 crew cab 4x4 w/5.0 gets 21 highway mpg as long as I stay under 60mph.

Nothing new that I have heard. Still a year out. Have no idea why they took a year off except to validate the new engine.

I have to think that the big *** sunroof available on regular F150's won't be offered on the '17 Raptor?

They will make both. I don't think they knew the size of demand for the 1st gen, which is why the SCREW was later.

Hopefully not, many people with 15s having the sunroof have complained of leaking during rainstorms and car washes. It would look bad for Ford and the Raptor lineup to have those problems show up, so no sunroof is the better option.

I have to think that the '16's won't have the problems that the '15's do. I was more thinking of the Raptor's intended purpose of being a street legal prerunner. Having a glass ceiling while enjoying a few jumps in the desert isn't exactly confidence inspiring. I know most Raptor owners don't take them off road but Ford no doubt doesn't want broken sunroofs to warranty either.
