Approach and departure angles are determined in part by bumper distance from the tire. My point was that any variance would be nominal - as it was in the past. Wheelbase will be the same so if there was a variance, it would be in the distance from tire to the outside of the bumper. As I said, Ford isn't going to give the Raptor a worse approach/departure angle - ergo non issue.
It's like the 'Raptor is wider' fallacy. The widest part of an F150 is the mirrors, that measurement is the same Raptor/non Raptor. You can fit a Raptor anywhere you can fit an F150, save for the height difference.

for instance, if the top of the bumper sticks out more than the bottom.
I heard the same "too wide" statement before too and agree it's BS.

My garage has a max height of 7 foot, but I think 84" is plenty. My fx4 fits fine in there.
Come on ford let us order one already, I'm bored of my truck.
Debating on which color to go with, I typically go Black, but I'm digging that white and that blue that I saw.

You'll have no problem fitting a raptor in there. I have a 15 platinum with a 6" lift and 35's and it measures right at 7' so the raptor will clear by at least a few inches.

Since it seems like it won't be till the end of the year, I may sell my truck now and get a 911. The plan was to tradein my fx4 to get a raptor and and purchase a 911 for my daily. Down here in miami I am always running into parking issues in the f150 so would like a little classy sports car for running around and not worrying about height or anything else.
