More like 474/36 = 13.1 mpg. I'm assuming the 36 gallon tank

That would be great, but I guess it could also have the 36 Gal tank = 13.2mpg

The 17+ ford superduty is somewhat based on the F150, but but is still a different front and cab. When the 17 superduty is ready, I will most definitely be turning in my 16 ecoboost. The superduty is exactly what i was looking for.
guy gene, you missed my point. sorry. in 2015, they changed the F-150 to look more like a boxy super duty. The f-150 has always (last 20 yrs) been a sleeker truck. different than their larger, mostly diesel powered tow truck brethren, the F-20, 350, etc... Then the 2010 raptor hit, and was an even more bad *** f-150. it has race lines. Baja inspired wide stance, smooth curved beauty & beast all in one.

the 2015 f-150 fell in line with the 250, 350, 450, etc with its new boxy front end, henceforth the 2017 raptor now looks like a work truck, not a play truck.

that was my point. and this isn't a super duty thread...

Has anyone herd wheater or not this engine will be premium (91-93) fuel only? I only ask because this is a H.O version of the 3.5 which can run on 87. I would love to own this truck one day but premium fuel only would kill that for me, I hunt out in the middle of no where with no gas above 87 octane around.

I'm sure it will be the same paradigm as the current Eco. Max power on premium, less power on lesser octane.

I searched but did not find the answer - have they yet finalized the horsepower/torque for the 2017 Raptor?

I've seen two on the streets (must be demo/prototypes), but no solid HP numbers yet.

the show circuit truck that I saw on Saturday said premium fuel. Hope that's not the case with production. I will be fine if its lower power on less then premium. They had the blue and avalanche grey there. Not a big fan of either. I was going to go with the blue, but its to tame for me. The guy there was not sure if the blue was the finally blue for production . Will have to wait and see. I'm leaning towards ruby red now.
