While i do agree that a nice boosted V8 would be great, I unfortunately think V8s are dying. I don't think that auto makers are investing in V8s anymore. I do like my eco but am looking to buy a 2nd car with a V8 and keeping it for decades to come.

It is...but at least I got my vin# last week and build scheduled for the week of December 5th.

There are prototype Raptors labeled as 17.5 running around... Had heard from a supplier that there is an alternative engine being tested. This will be exactly like 2010 with base 5.4 and optional 6.2.

I hope you're right! I personally would love to see the 6.2 remain or a turbo'd 5.0.

Sure, we all know the F150 has a cosmetic refresh coming. Where is the info on these additional engine options being tested?

Everyone said that in the 70's as well. Didn't happen then, won't happen now. Too many people want a V8 still. If people want it, they will go to the company selling them. If Ford stopped selling V8 trucks, you'll see a lot of people switch to Chevy, Dodge, Nissan, Toyota, etc.
