Default 2011 Raptor Issues

Hello all i am new to this forum.....my girlfriend lol ya i know, has a 2011 Raptor with the 6.2L. it has just turned 80K and there seems to one issue after another, first was

1.Drivers and passenger blend door actuator...the drivers was a *&tch but i changed them both........the engineers should have there butt kicked for the lower actuator

2 There has always been a clunk on the passengers side front suspension since it was new which i cant find.... at times it seems the door is moving up and down on the striker (no adjustment that i can see).....dealer said NPF

3. Drivers side door switches...i had to replace the whole assembly switches quit working.... then wrap it on the bottom of the bezel with electrical tape so it wouldn't rattle.

4. Passenger side hub assembly was growling....i decided to replace it with timken assembly's.....i did both at the same time figured the other wasn't to far behind......when i opened up the drivers side, the internals where caked with mud and rusted.......its a good thing i found it now........there is a seal that bolts on the back of the spindle that seals against the CV joint bell......when i got the hub of and inspected there was a 3 inch piece of seal hanging out, best i can tell this was done at the factory. This was the first ever that the hubs had been worked on.

5. So i get all these repairs done and am backing down the drive way and the EDL is engaged!!!!!!! switch is off (pushed in)!!!!! drive it a little bit and it unlocks.... it still does it periodically..... I have no idea where to start with this.

6. The driver side heated seat element needs replaced just quit working and the seat motor is grinding ill do these before winter.

7. Found the oil leak it seems there is a line coming off the cooler that is weeping at a pressed fitting.....this is next on the repair list

Guys she baby's this truck it is nowhere near abused its been off road once deer hunting and it never left a groomed dirt road.. My question is does anyone know anything about the ELD problem or the sound from the passengers side?????

Also is most of this stuff common?? have you all or some of you had to replace this much stuff.....I have a 02 F350 4X4 and all i have done is a alternator and water pump in 150K is it time to sell this or am i about done for awhile with repairs????!!!!!!!?????

Thanks in advance

Hi chevmn56,

Is she a member of this forum? Please ask her to send a PM with her current mileage; I'll explore options to assist.

Tough go, I had an '11 SuperCab, had no issues at all, with the exception of the known driveshaft "clunk" issue, and that was solved in a half hour with a new driveshaft covered under the TSB that was issued.

Sorry to hear about your troubles man. We tend to see these rear ends start having trouble disengaging and coming on right before the rear end gives out. It may be time for a rebuild. When is the last time you flushed the rear end fluid? That helps sometimes. You could have some metal shavings and burnt fluid in there.

Can you be more specific about the clunk? Is it when the suspension cycles? Wheel turned? etc?
Sometimes the coil over doesn't get reinstalled properly after service on the front end and it causes a clunking on small bumps.
